We would like to welcome you to Les Magnolias, located at the edge of the Bastide Lalinde, founded by Henri III Plantagenet in 1267.

Once you enter by the big gate, you are in our fully enclosed park with beautiful old magnolia, cedar and oak trees. You will find many seating areas in the sun or in the shade. The swimming pool (17 x 7 m) has a lovely view of the river, it has extensive terraces and is surrounded by palm and olive trees. The pool is filled with water from our own source. It is a unique oasis of peace. WIFI is available in the total accommodation.

Our Maison de Maitre, a romantic riverside mansion from the 18th century, has recently been renovated into a boutique style chambre d’hotes accomodation.The adjacent building was used as a wine warehouse (chai) and is now converted into a gites complex.

Les Magnolias is located in the tourist heart (the golden triangle) of the Dordogne and offers the ideal base to explore the surrounding area. It’s up to you how you want to enjoy the peace and quiet, the history, or even an active holiday.

Enjoy the tranquility on a sunny terrace, have a delicious breakfast outside one of the terraces, look at the stunning view of the ever changing nature of the Dordogne river, go strolling along the banks of the river with swans and weeping willows, take a swim in our attractive pool, listen to the croaking frogs and chirping crickets in the evening, play Jeu de Boule, a ballgame, under old trees
