Hotel Kronacker, Tienen

A unique boutique hotel with 38 rooms and a Grand Café brasserie, within walking distance of the Grand Market Square of Tienen. The building, dating from 1748, is a protected monument and has been fully restored to its original state. The hotel is surrounded by Tienen’s city park, home to the unique arboretum Hortensus Thenesis. A beautiful south-facing courtyard overlooking the park provides a pleasant setting to enjoy sunny days.

Hotel Accommodation Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans may change. Therefore, we apply a clear and fair cancellation policy:

Individual reservations (1–4 rooms)

  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival.
  • For cancellations less than 48 hours before arrival, the first night will be charged.
  • In case of a no-show without prior cancellation, the full reservation amount will be charged.

Group reservations (5 rooms or more)

  • Up to 30 days before arrival: free cancellation.
  • Between 30 and 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
  • Less than 14 days before arrival: the full amount will be charged.

Non-refundable rates & special offers
For reservations made under non-refundable rates or special promotions, cancellation or refunds are not possible. In some cases, the date may be changed (subject to availability) for an additional fee.

High season & events
During busy periods (such as holidays, festivals, and major events), stricter conditions apply:

  • Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.
  • For cancellations less than 14 days before arrival, the full amount will be charged.

Force majeure
In exceptional circumstances (such as pandemics, natural disasters, or government measures), we follow official guidelines. If necessary, we offer flexible solutions such as rebooking or a voucher.
