A building over 218 years old, known as Inn Ančka in the 1960s with a rich history, was given a new opportunity in December 2017 under the new name Hiša Ančka to enable the development of hospitality and tourism in Slovenj Gradec. Its location has always allowed visits not only by locals but also by travelers and tourists. It lies on the outskirts of the center and is just a few meters away from the crossroads of paths leading to the industrial zone, the city center, further north to Carinthia, or the road leading to Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana. The modern name and newer equipment express comfort and allow for the kind of festivity Ančka was known for.

Today, at Hiša Ančka, you will find Italian cuisine with a touch of Slovenia. Emphasis is placed on homemade pasta, excellent desserts, and a diverse selection of wines and whiskeys. We organize numerous culinary and thematic evenings and are proud participants in the Slovenian campaign "Restaurant Week," promoting only the best dishes. Hiša Ančka also boasts a 250-square-meter summer terrace, where weekly music and cultural events take place during the summer. Your youngest can also enjoy carefree play on the playground with artificial turf.

Almost a year after the restaurant's opening, the Boutique Hotel was inaugurated, offering guests 12 modern rooms (5 in Hiša Ančka and 7 in the newer unit, Hiša Maja), furnished in pleasant tones with above-standard equipment.
